living in the Philippines is a tough deal for me.

i am mostly frustrated due to the the fact that the local market here is barely competent of the only vice i have, BOOKS.

given that the internet has provided a gateway for just about anything, it has occurred to me that it may be the solution to my life-long qualms.

but the thing is, it has never been in my principle to use credit cards. is there any other way i can purchase on-line using a debit card instead? or can i make use of any other alternatives excluding credit cards..?

I just barely got my first credit card, and before that I was able to buy anything I wanted with a debit card. They work just the same…even if it were to be ran as credit it would be coming out of the same place anyway, it’s only a debit card

Many banks issue debit cards that may be used for credit-type transactions as well (the funds are still debited from the debit card’s checking account). Try entering your debit card information when placing an order online – it may work.

Another option is to use PayPal, which many online retailers accept.

Personal experience – I regularly use both debit cards and PayPal for online purchases.
