My wife wanted to start a biz on her own (good for her). She’s ready with everything she needs to work (she’s even having me as a part-time labor.. don’t how that happened?) but not sure how to get this thing solidly of the ground. Solid sales would be really good right now. Our savings are pretty much all involved in this thing (Ouch!). I really wish her well but I am not an expert in business deals, I’ve always worked hard for my bucks and always for someone else. Anyone with the solution? someone in the AC business perhaps, I kinda know that AC contractors are doing the air ducts cleaning too, but it is not why they went to school for, they don’t really want to bother with that type of wok, Is that true? If there isn’t a local chamber, try reaching out to businesses by yourself. Calling people for the sole purpose of selling them a product or service can be intimidating at first, so try writing a loose script.
and don’t be afraid to get involved in local events- parades, auctions, etc. Giving away one cleaning is pocket change for having 200+ people hear your company’s name on the radio!
